CLINT UPDATE 8/9/05
I am not at liberty to say much at the moment. But I wanted to take a second to let all those who are reading this know that the Clint search is ongoing and has taken many twists and turns this past week. Each day we are receiving new information, even if it is only a little at a time. I, and those working closely with me, are diligently following each of these leads. We believe that we may be only hours or days away from the crucial information that will put us in contact with Clint. That is, of course, if he doesn’t show up at Carter’s before then.

Nothing comes without a price. The beauty of this story is that even with all of the emotional drainage, I know that there is hope at the end of this road. It cannot come soon enough, though I still wonder what the moment will be like when I finally sit down with him again and we are "properly introduced." This is one wild story. Imagine what it would be like to be the one involved in it and to know that someone searched far and wide to find you again because of one brief encounter on a busy city street where you told her she was beautiful twice, but yet failed to ask for her phone number. What would you do to discover that she had tracked you down to a small auto shop in Van Nuys just so she could talk to you again? What would you say?
